Warren M. Petty
Director of Talent Management and Human Resources
Warren M. Petty joined The Children's Aid Society as the Director of Talent Management and Human Resources in June 2012. Bringing a wealth of experience in strategic planning and implementation, Warren is tasked with instituting and directing “best practices” in human resources to help the agency achieve a higher level of effectiveness for the children, youth and families we serve. In this role, Warren will be leading our efforts to attract, develop and retain the best nonprofit workforce in the country.
Warren most recently served as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at The New School University in New York, where he implemented new technologies that improved overall organizational effectiveness and also designed a competitive compensation system with a career path framework. His previous positions in human resources, at both The New School and the University of the Virgin Islands, demonstrate his ability to assess an organization from the inside out and make progressive adjustments over the long term in order to improve the experience of both staff and customers.
Warren is a graduate of Howard University and holds a Master’s degree in Communications from Wheaton College.
