Ann Sinclair

Associate Conductor: Dunlevy Milbank Gospel Chorus

Ann Sinclair taught music at the Community Protestant Church for 7 years and the Beulah Baptist Church for 10 years where she was choir director for the youth department. She currently works with the Japan-based organization “Peace Boat”. For the past three years, she has been hired to lecture and teach all facets of music, i.e. gospel, jazz, pop, blues, R&B, swing, country, etc., to Japanese students aboard the ship.

Ann founded the first gospel choir of the College of New Rochelle Co-op City Campus, and presently conducts a youth choir in her community of Co-op City. Ann has many film, theater and commercial credits, including “The Day the Ponies Came Home” and “Mama, I Want to Sing”. Ann currently works as the headline artist at the Cotton Club in Harlem and also at the gospel brunch at Copeland’s Restaurant. Ann graduated from College of New Rochelle, with a BA in Psychology. Ann is also studying for her minister’s license.
