Shelly Wade
Associate Conductor, Greenwich Village Training & Junior Chorus
Shelly Wade holds a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Choral Conducting from Radford University. Some of her recent operatic appearances include 'Cherubino' in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, 'Jenny Hildebrand' in Kurt Weill's STREET SCENE, 'Little Boy' in Lukas Foss's GRIFFELKIN. In 2005, she served as Associate Conductor of Children's Choir, Voices in Harmony in Radford, Virginia. Shelly is currently working as a Choral Artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild. She teaches voice and piano lessons both privately and at Bergen Academy of Music in New Jersey. She is also Conductor of Children's Choirs at Marble Collegiate Church in New York City.
