Pelham Fritz Housing
The Pelham Fritz Apartments are designed specifically for homeless parents and their children. These 33 private, clean and safe apartments are located in Harlem on West 118th Street between Fifth and Lenox Avenues.
Families referred to The Children's Aid Society by the New York City Department of Homeless Services qualify for placement at this Tier II shelter.
The Dunlevy Milbank Center is located across the street from Pelham Fritz Apartments. Residents are eligible for the center's full range of services, including medical and dental screenings, mental health counseling, after-school programs and day care.
Pelham Fritz operates a food pantry that is open to the community. The food pantry operates Monday-Friday from 1-4 p.m. and a referral from a social service worker is needed.
