2007 Wick Stern Scholars Honored at Luncheon

Children's Aid Trustees meet with recipients of scholarship established in honor of their son.

A luncheon was held on May 30, 2007 at the Blue Water Grill in Manhattan, celebrating the 2007 Wick Stern Scholarship Recipients

Trustees Jean and Robert Stern established the Wick Stern Memorial Scholarship in 2001. The scholarship is named in the memory of their son Wick Stern. Both Jean and Robert are great supporters of education and are committed to the mission of The Children's Aid Society.

The scholarship is geared towards EXCEL students that have persevered despite great obstacles to remain in school, graduate and pursue higher education. The Wick Stern Memorial Scholarship is awarded to 8 students annually.
