Orthodontic Clinic

In November 2006, The Children’s Aid Society opened the first orthodontic clinic located in a public school, at Salomé Ureña de Henríquez Campus in Washington Heights. The clinic is named Casa de Sonrisas, which is Spanish for "House of Smiles."
Children’s Aid dental staff partner with practitioners from St. Barnabas Hospital’s Orthodontic Program to provide a range of orthodontic care. St. Barnabas also provides back-up services, including surgical and specialty children’s dental care.
Orthodontic services are available at a special reduced rate. All children will be accepted regardless of financial coverage.

Funding for Children's Aid's Dental Services is provided (in part) by a grant from the American Dental Association Foundation.
