What:
Miracle on Madison Avenue is an annual charity shopping event that brings together leading luxury retailers, restaurants and galleries on Madison Avenue in support of New York’s children in need. This year marks the 21st anniversary of Miracle, a true New York City tradition.
On December 2nd, approximately 100 participating establishments on Madison Avenue will donate 20 percent of the day’s sales to The Children’s Aid Society’s health care programs, which provide much needed care to children who might not otherwise get basic medical attention.
Madison Avenue will be closed off to vehicular traffic from 68th to 72nd Streets, the only day of the year that the avenue is closed. Specialty tents will line the avenue within this area, including a Clarins Spa Tent, the Taste of Madison Avenue Tent and a Children’s Entertainment Tent.
