Director of Drew Hamilton Recognized as Outstanding Youth Development Professional
August 31, 2007
Casper Lassiter, Director of the Drew Hamilton Learning Center, has been honored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America with its prestigious A. Mangini Northeast Regional 2007 Outstanding Youth Development Professional Award.

The Award is “presented to a professional who helps members {children} realize their full potential through excellence in programming.” Casper, who grew up in Harlem and was a Children’s Aid youth at our Dunlevy Milbank Center, certainly fits that bill. He brings great enthusiasm, dedication and skill to his work with children and families.
Although Casper is new to the Drew Hamilton Center, he has been with The Children's Aid Society for years, most recently as the Assistant Director of the Dunlevy Milbank Center where he spent his youth. His commitment to helping the Harlem community and The Children's Aid Society is a great example for the children and youth we serve.
