WHAT:
At The Blue Jean Ball – Denim & Diamonds urban cowboys and cowgirls will enjoy an evening of music, dancing, cocktails, fashion and casino games, all to benefit The Children’s Aid Society’s volunteer and mentoring programs.
Live music and dancing will ring the rafters of Capitale, courtesy of Soul Street and Total Entertainment; a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament and casino by Smash Entertainment will also amuse the guests. There will be an 8:00 p.m. VIP cocktail reception with live jazz by Soul Street along with the 8:30 p.m. high-rolling VIP Texas Hold’ Em Poker Tournament. The top three winners of the tournament will receive trips to exciting destinations such as South Beach in Miami and Las Vegas. Attendees will dance the night away while indulging in the West’s finest cocktails with a full premium bar sponsored by Grey Goose and Coors Light and hors d’oeuvres and desserts from Capitale. For the fashion enthusiasts, models mingling with the crowd will showcase custom jeans from Denim Flash by Angelo Rusciano, and a silent auction will feature luxurious prizes by such designers as Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Luca Luca, Bottega Veneta and more! For true Denim & Diamond lovers, FOURSEAS Diamonds will raffle off five pairs of diamond earrings.

The Associates Council is the leadership arm of Children’s Aid’s dynamic and diverse volunteer force, which shares a commitment and a desire to help The Children’s Aid Society meet the needs of the children it serves. Associates Council members promote Children Aid’s initiatives, raise funds and host events to support successful volunteer programs and services that focus on improving the lives of New York City’s youth.
The Children’s Aid Society (CAS) serves over 150,000 children each year at more than 40 locations in New York City. Its mission is to ensure the physical and emotional well being of children and families and to provide each child with the support and opportunities needed to become a happy, healthy and successful adult. The Children's Aid Society has been on the front lines for New York’s children for over 150 years and is one of the oldest and largest child welfare agencies in the United States; over ninety-one cents out of every dollar raised goes directly to services for children.
