Mission:
To help teen-aged African-American and Latina girls realize their potential through the encouragement, support and guidance of mentors from similar backgrounds.
SisterNet activities include:
- Group discussions
- Presentations and guest speakers
- Field trips
Time Commitment
6-8 p.m. Wednesdays from October through May. (Note that program does not meet when school is not in session.)
Mentors are:
Professional Latina and African-American women who have overcome the challenges of being a young, urban minority.
