Beginning with the basics of animation, using flipbooks and zoetropes, this class will discuss the fundamentals of the moving image and traditional animation. The students will have hands on experience writing, designing, and producing animated shorts using traditional drawing, stop-motion techniques, cut paper animation, and computer animation programs.
