Children and Adolescents in the Community

Through our three community center-based clinics, Children’s Aid offers children and adolescents access to health professionals they can trust in an environment with which they are familiar.

Children and teens receive full-service health care at our community clinics, including:

  • Physical examinations
  • Growth assessments
  • Screenings (hearing, vision, scoliosis, etc.)
  • Treatment of acute illnesses such as asthma
  • Dental and vision treatments

For adolescents, we offer:

  • Specialized confidential health services including health education
  • Physical examinations for school, sports and work
  • Sexually transmitted infections testing
  • Gynecological exams
  • Immunizations
  • HIV counseling and testing
  • Family planning

Children and families are also connected to preventive health services.
