Getting Started

“Unless you try to do something beyond what you already mastered, you will never grow” -Ronald E. Osborn

The road to becoming a volunteer is a relatively simple one to navigate. There are three easy steps:

1. Attend an Upcoming Information Session
Our Information Sessions provide you with details about many of our volunteer opportunities. You will have the chance to hear about our volunteer opportunities, speak to our staff, and begin the application process.

2. *Complete the Volunteer Application
After you’ve attended an Information Session, you will be asked to complete our Volunteer Application. Along with providing basic contact information and availability volunteer times, you will be required to submit references and complete a background safety check.

3. Finalize Your Placement
Once you have completed the entire application process, you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with us to finalize your volunteer placement. This personal consultation with a member of our staff allows us to ensure that all of your needs will be addressed before starting your volunteer experience.

*Required for all Academic Enrichment, Mentoring, and Saturday Outing placements
