Spring Into Action Day (formerly Derby Day)
This annual event held by The Children’s Aid Society on the last Saturday in April is proof that the smallest seeds create enormous change. Our community centers and schools create projects that beautify, inform, re-create, or otherwise improve their facilities and surroundings.
All we need is a little elbow grease to get the jobs done! And if you’ve never volunteered before, this would be the perfect place to start! Past projects have included planting gardens, painting fences, designing community and school murals, and decorating bulletin boards.
